Guest: Frank Worley-Lopez

On this edition of Traces of Reality Radio: Guillermo is joined by the author of A Puerto Rican Manifesto, and co-founder of the original Libertarian Party of Puerto Rico, Mr. Frank Worley-Lopez. We discuss Frank’s article, “Starting a Free Country: A Plan – Strength in Numbers and a Puerto Rican Manifesto,” in which he proposes a “Free State Project” like endeavor on the island of Puerto Rico.  We discuss the intricacies of the proposal, and what makes Puerto Rico an ideal place to pursue these efforts.

Also, we touch on the breaking news of a mass shooting occurring at a Navy Yard in Washington, DC. As of the recording of this live broadcast, details remained sketchy. What is indisputable is that the shooting took place in yet another “gun free zone,” in the “gun-free city” of Washington, DC.  We discuss how tragedies like this can be avoided in the future with a better understanding  of the right to self-defense, and less gun regulation, not more.
